AppThemes Coupons
AppThemes Coupons are an easy way to start offering coupons to your customers. This is one of our most popular plugins!
With AppThemes Coupons, you can offer coupons with:
- Flat rate discounts
- Percentage based discounts (% of total order)
- Time based limit
- Per user or product limit
Requirements:
- AppThemes Product with Payments Support.
Also works with Vantage 4.0!
What themes does this work with?
AppThemes Coupons will work with any theme that supports AppThemes Payments. This includes ClassiPress, Vantage, JobRoller, Clipper, and HireBee.
To install, simply upload the plugin via the WordPress Administrator Panel. Or extract the plugin’s files and manually upload via FTP.
Once activated, you can add/update/delete Coupons via the Payments Menu, under the Coupons page.
Note: This plugin will automatically error and deactivate itself if the current theme is not supported. Simply reactivate the plugin through the Manage Plugins page once a support theme has been selected.

It does the work if you need to create a single coupon for all plans/packs.
You guys need to further develop this plugin so we can apply different coupons to different packs.

Just to be 100% sure this plugin can be used on jroller too?
@zlaws, no this currently only works with Vantage. We plan to eventually make it compatible with our other themes.
Is this plugin multilingual? I need all in Spanish? Also while I am here, how easy is to translate the entire Vantage theme in Spanish?

Hi there, can someone please answer my question from 2 days ago. I am looking into buying the Vantage theme for my next project. I have already found the answer about the theme being multilingual but I also need to know if the coupon plugin is also multilingual, please let me know, thanks!
Hi Roberto, the coupon plugin will be completely multilingual in the next release. That should be by the end of this month.

What does this app actually do? Is it only for customers creating accounts on your directory or does it create coupons that can be used at businesses in your directory?

@tbase, to come back to you about this.. there are a couple of reasons why we probably won’t be able to add the plugin to the Vantage demo and one is that it could actually confuse people visiting the demo into thinking it’s a built in function of the theme. The other is that although the demos are fully functional, you cannot save data, hence you cannot truly test the plugin anyway. Thanks.
According to the support forums it doesn’t work yet. Support was able to replicate where coupons were not being applied correctly. This was as of a couple days ago.
@fstaff – It works in Vantage. Vantage Payments doesn’t support decimals (it uses mathmatical intval() which always rounds down), and that should start being resolved in future versions of Vantage and other themes. Thanks.

@ironbit, currently no this plugin is not compatible with JobRoller and will not likely be the case until the payments framework for JobRoller itself has been updated. Our Theme release status page indicates this may be in v1.7. Thanks.

@strategist, unfortunately there is no demo for this. As explained in my comment above, our demo sites do not allow data to be saved, thus actually testing the plugin wouldn’t be possible for demo users. Thanks.
Is this compatible with jobroller? If I intend to sell job packs and my client has a coupon… Will this automatically detect my discount when they are paying?

Hi Yumiko/Pepsi whatever. I request you to please make it compatible for jobroller. There is huge scope and also huge demand for this. New version of jobroller has released. Please make it compatible with it. 1.7 will take long time.
Also, in release date for 1.7 jobroller it is written Spring 2013. Is it season? Which country’s season. Not all county has this season. It will be better if you mention month.
@Sid, as per my comment above, the necessary changes needed in order for the plugin to work with JobRoller are already planned. If it’s at all possible to do this in an earlier release, then our team will do their best to include it, however at this stage the estimated date stands.

@karen, ClassiPress has a coupon function already built into the theme, however the plugin is compatible with themes using AppThemes payments, and these changes are being made in the next major release of ClassiPress v3.3 as indicated on our theme release status page.
