Contact-Stats is a plugin exclusively designed to communicate with Vantage. Contact-Stats can hide contact details of listings on specific pages & it can captures and control the statistical data of contact information from business listings. If a user is showcasing their businesses on Vantage, they would certainly like to know how much visibility they have acquired. Contact Stats requires users to click to see contact info for a listing. Each click is recorded and geo stats are compiled for review. Contact-Stats provide such information to the business listing owners.
Contact-Stats is build to capture valuable geographical information and the IP addresses of the users who are visiting the business listings and accessing the contact’s information. Contact-Stats works quietly and silently while running in backend without letting users know that their geographic information & IP address is being recorded. It is a very light-weight plugin and it uses the MaxMind js, therefore there is no large data files.
The key feature of Contact-Stats is that, it is very simple & easy but an incredible tool, that its working process should not affect the performance neither running operation of your product, just by maintaining undersized database.
Only single entry can be made per IP Address for a single business listing, i.e., clicking on Phone number, Address or Website, only one common record will be maintained per IP Address and this way, only one information can be obtained from one IP address.
This way, you can gather the data of IP Address & Region etc., that when and from where user has hit to obtain the contact information and this information can be re-utilized in future.

Note: – Contact-Stat environment is made upon Jquery XTML DOM Object, hence only original “Vantage XHTML Structure” must be employ otherwise Contact-Stats will not work.
Installation Guide:
- Extract zip file on path /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Activating Plugin will add ‘Contact Stats Option’ menu to ‘Listings’ menu.
- Open Listings –> ‘Contact Stats Option’ page to setup the plugin.

When we do direct you to our Email support system, we may ask you for your login details.
Support Hours
We don’t have exact support hours, generally we can provide feedback on any support request within 12 or 24 hours. But note, that depending on the issue complexity and our workload. If we are online and able to provide you with support during the officially “holidays” period we will certainly not ignore you.
Support Offered
We only cover support for the Reload Web, add-ons,child themes and basic WordPress help. We cannot provide support on third-party plugins. we will try to help you with any type of requests including customization that requires only a couple lines of code changing, you must understand that we cannot provide extensive help in terms of modifications.
Moreover, technical support will always take priority over modification/customization requests.
Modification support
If your request for modification or customization help only requires us to publish a couple lines of code, we will be glad to assist you. If however you request requires more an that amount of code to be published, we can only provide guidance OR you can hire us if you don’t have the skins to implement it yourself.
Bug Fixing
It is our commitment to fix all theme bugs as quickly as possible after they are brought to our attention. We will also try provide a solution via the forum for smaller bug fixes, after which we will update the core theme or plugin.

this plug in is nice to hide the website, phone number and address of a company that must be clicked to show,
But what would really make this plug in the best is an impression feature that would tell how many times the listing has shown up in search results.
I’m happy with this plugin – working great (using 1.2.1) – especially the idea to show information on demand by clicking onto —
the contacts stats available under dashboard is perfect for all doing business with such a nice theme

A nice feature would be tracking every impression a listing gets. So every time it shows up on a category page, search result, etc., it gets counted.
That plus the number of times they were clicked on to go to single listing would encourage listing owners to upgrade.
If you throw in how often the category they are in is viewed that would be good too. That way if they are on page six of the Auto category they could see that the category has been viewed 2000 times, they have had only 20 impressions (because they are on page 6) and 2 clicks.
They would then know that if they upgraded to a featured listing for the category that they would be seen 2000 times (assuming all featured listing make it to the first page). Meaning 100 times more visibility, which should result in at least 200 clicks instead of 2. Probably more because they would be a the top and featured.

This would be very nice for the next version indeed. It would be really nice to show customers how many time their search result showed up (impressions) and also how many click they received.
it would be nice to have this kind of plugin for classipress so the advertiser can fallow who was on his ad…

By the way, is there a reason why the Phone number is showing in the Homepage listings when the Admin backend has it checked off as to not reveal it?

To add it would be nice if you could show the business owner how potential customers find their page ie from google, bing – what was the search term and/or from what social groups. So if you share their advert on your social group and get 100 hits they could see 100 hits from facebook.com/yourprofile (So they would have a simple view of website stats as we see them in statcounter for their listing only (if they wanted competitor stats they could pay more)).
This would encourage business owners to spend on SEO as they would then see its worthwhile.
The ideas from above would go hand in hand

I checked your plugin and its a really great idea. on top of that no one will steal our data and we will know about our visitors too.
But i have a suggestion for you that once we click for the address to look up then it stays on even if we start looking the next listing but instead it should hide back again the way it was. Meaning it should show one listing of contact information at the same time.

Hi Is it possible to have this installed and not show the stats for a given time and activate showing stats at some point?
The reason is that I am starting new directory and to start with it will all be zeros and looking at zeros is not very pleasant for the listing owners. So I would like to build up the stats and then release them as in a month or two time.
anuraagv – there is an option to reset the stats – so you can resent them just before you go live.

You can delete stats from plugin settings page. You can find button Delete All listings Stats it will delete stats for all listings.

How can more “click thru Covers” be created so the “MAKE CONTACT”
Contact us pop up must be uncovered so that step in the process of
search statistics can be included. Kinda like abandoned shopping carts.
It shows more interest than just getting the phone number but was it used to call them?
The Contact Us is a more active push by the visitor. Shows they were or are
active or almost active responding then and there by preferred pathway.
Click to call Plug in and not just the static number. Or counting the time the contact us pop up pops up. Having two or three more customizable slots.
