What themes does this work with?
The BitPay.com Payment Gateway will work with any theme that supports AppThemes Payments.
- Vantage 1.1+
- Clipper 1.4+
- ClassiPress 3.3+
- JobRoller 1.7+
- HireBee 1.0+
To install, simply upload the plugin via the WordPress Administrator Panel. Or extract the plugin’s files and manually upload via FTP.
Once activated, you can configure the settings via the Payments Settings for your site.
Note: This plugin will automatically error and deactivate itself if the current theme is not supported. Simply reactivate the plugin through the Manage Plugins page once a support theme has been selected.

No, Bitpay not offer a ‘chained payments’.
Can someone tell me if this is supported with the new WordPress 4.0? I can’t see where to setup the payments under the settings after installing WP-Ecommerce, this plugin, and HireBee 1.2

WP->Payments->Settings->Bitpay tab, enter your API key, save, then back to ‘General’ tab, and enable Bitpay gateway.

Dude, you have installed some BitPay plugin for WP e-Commerce, and not for the HireBee, so why you are looking for it in the theme payments options?!
To configure WPEC Bitpay plugin check the WPEC options under ‘WP->Settings->Shop->Payments’

That the product/plugin from this page is something totally different. Plugin from this page is intended for AppThemes themes (including HireBee), and plugin you installed extends the ‘WP e-Commerce’. The only one common thing about both, is that both adds Bitpay payments support, but… to different products.

Can this payment gateway be used in conjunction with ClassiPress’ standard PayPal gateway? To clarify, I’d like to keep the standard payment gateway ClassiPress theme comes with, but add an additional option for users to pay with Bitcoins.

Yes, that’s the main concept of BitPay and this gateway, to give users more payment method options. You don’t need to use BTC as your main currency, you can use on your site any that is supported by Bitpay, see: https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates
Does this automatically do the conversion from government currency to bitcoin or does the plugin owner have to manually change it?

2. Don’t buy this plugin, it’s not for you, if you weren’t able to enter ‘bitpay.com’ in your address bar within 2 weeks, I better don’t know what problems you will have with, and after installing this plugin.

I installed BitPay plugin on my Vantage theme. It requires API token which I copied by my BitPay account. Unfortunately, when testing my site for checkout, only PayPal shows and BitPay doesn’t show in payment method option dropdown. Please tell me what I miss.
Please open thread on forum providing info about Vantage, WordPress, and BitPay plugin versions. Before doing it, please check if you have Bitpay gateway enabled (don’t forget to click “Save Changes button), and the transaction you are going to pay for isn’t a recurring payment – Bitpay gateway does not support it.

BitPay gateway works with themes: ClassiPress, Clipper, HireBee, JobRoller, Taskerr, Vantage.
It does not work with Ideas and QualityControl themes, just because this 2 themes does not have the payments implemented.
Yes, you can disable other payment gateways and use only BitPay with Bitcoins.
If I purchase it am I able to use it on multiple sites? with all my app themes or do i need to pay $39 per site?

There is no demo site for the Bitpay payment gateway plugin… there is not too much too see on the frontend (a dropdown with Bitpay payment option?)… trying to show the backend, you would show to random people sensitive data like API keys… so, creating fully functional demo is quite not possible… you may check out screenshot, make a test payment on you own site using the Paypal gateway to see the process, and also checkout the Bitpay demos here: https://bitpay.com/demos
used with Hirebee theme can decide for example that bitcoin withdraw from worker is available only when the job is payed with bitcoin?
@mario Sorry, Bitpay not offer a ‘chained payments’ (the thing you asking for)… using this gateway in HireBee you can pay for posting offers, purchasing plans, but not charge for work.
Bitpay payment will be in my site or it will open page like paypal and then return to my site advice. also it will work in UAE/pakistan or not i link can i transfer amount from bitpay to paypal or other acccounts
It will work much like Paypal, means user will leave site for a moment while making payment.

BitPay payment gateway is using WP Cron to run tasks for checking payments status… Please make sure WP Cron is working correctly on your site, useful informations you can find in this one article: https://code.tutsplus.com/articles/insights-into-wp-cron-an-introduction-to-scheduling-tasks-in-wordpress–wp-23119 and a comments under it.
