[…] FXtender for JobRoller has been updated to version 1.4. http://marketplace.appthemes.com/plugins/fxtender-pro […]
Hello Bruno,
I’ve got two issues with FX tender pro (using also the childtheme jobright):
1) Persistent Company Logos (submit jobs without uploading a new logo each time) seems not to work.
2) viewing profiles of joblisters I still see the gravatar instead of the company logo (while the setting seems to be correct in FXTender) example: http://www.ict-vacatures-opdrachten.nl/author/kloutadmin/
Do these problems seems familiar to you and can you tell me how I can solve them?
Thanks in Advance!
Doing some testing on a WordPress multisite installation. When I activate the FXtender plugin I get this error and cannot access my site.
Notice: Use of undefined constant AUTH_COOKIE – assumed ‘AUTH_COOKIE’ in /var/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 619
I then have to use FTP to rename the fxtender.. folder, in order to deactivate the plugin.
Is the only way for JobRoller to keep CVs in database is to purchase this extension? Don’t need the rest of the features, just CV storage for our admins
Ho do you disable the apply online field as an administrator when approving a job. Note that this option is not enabled for job listers.
@appteun, please post any support questions on FXtender forum. It will be easier to follow and help you. What version of FXtender are you using?
@sats, please do not activate FXtender as network plugin. Just put the folder inside your theme plugins folder and activate in from the theme.
@Darryl P, yes, currently, CV uploading is only available with FXtender Pro.
@bilsmore, you can enable the option to allow Job Listers to enable/disable the ‘Apply Online’ field for each posted job ( General > Job Submit > Optional Apply Online Field).
This feature is only available after 1.4.0. Before this, site owners, could just enable or disable ‘Apply Online’ for all jobs.
Hi Serbet at fx tender
I am wondering if there is any news on the add and remove credit / job credits from recruiter user accounts plugin feature yet ?
I know several people have asked for this feature job themes have told me to come ask you guys as so many people have asked for this feature someone is waiting for you job themes or app themes to build this plugin
if its being built do you know when it will be released ?
same question for the Broadbean plugin
thanks
at the moment seems to be someone wants to build this you guys job themes or app themes but they don’t want someone to work on the same project can someone work out who is going to build this feature so many user want
I love this plugin… However I have a few questions
1/ What’s the difference between a job visitor and application visitor.
2/ is this plugin capable of importing linkedin recommendations and endorsements?
3/ is the plugin capable of auto filling user resume and company profile logging or signing up with linkedin?
4/ do job Listers need to manually type the longitude and latitude when listing. Or is this plugin compatible with google location search api that automatically fills in the figures base on the address given.
5/ can the number of resume views per job pack be defined seperately I.e. Bronze pack can veiw 10 cv… Silver can view 30 etc.
Is fxtender 1.4 thoroughly tested on latest jobroller 1.6.5 & wp 3.5
Is there any possibility for any kind of bugs or problems?
@Tamara,
Please post any questions related with JobRoller on the forum.
JobRoller uses 2 roles: Job Listers and Job Seekers.
Job Listers post jobs and Job Seekers apply for jobs.
No
@Sid, FXtender 1.4.0 was developed to be 100% compatible with JobRoller 1.6.5 and WP 3.5.
As with any software, I cannot guarantee it’s 100% bug free. If you find any bugs please report them on FXtender forum.

Hi,
A simple question from a novice! When installing the new version of FXtender, do i delete the old version first?
The other version I have has a folder called ‘fxtender-pro’, where as this version is called ‘fxtender-pro-jobroller’. So do I delete and replace, copy the files from the new into the existing folder, or keep both folders?
Thanks

If this plugin allows LinkedIn integration, what is the main difference between it and LinkedIn Publisher http://marketplace.appthemes.com/plugins/linkedin-publisher/ ?
In other words, does it do what LinkedIn Publisher does as well or are there limitations?
Dave, they are completely different from each other. The LinkedIn-Publisher plugin is a job aggregator that fetches jobs from the LinkedIn database and displays them on your website.
The LinkedIn integration offered by FXtender is completely different. It adds features like ‘Apply With LinkedIn’ to jobs posted by job listers or LinkedIn Company Profiles on single job pages.
Let’s see if I understand this correct, so basically FX does not pull the jobs from LinkedIn publisher account at all? For that, LinkedIn Publisher would be the ideal way to go? However, regardless whether one has jobs being pulled from a LinkedIn Publisher account or not, using FX the admin can have the “Apply with LinkedIn” button to any job postings that would enable users to apply using LinkedIn? Thanks for the clarification.
Also, does the “Apply Online” link actually send the job application(s) directly to the employer who listed the job, perhaps via their specific email? Or how does that work?
can you please send me a link to download FXtender lite version . i think it is available for free . . right ?
Thanks
