If a job applicant applies using the Linkedin button, what information does the site admin receive? The extensiveness of this information determines if I purchase this plugin or not.

Currently, FXtender provides stats to the site admin on how many applications where done using ‘Apply with LinkedIn’ and how many were done using the standard ‘Apply to Job’.

    Hello sir,

Just want to confirm that FXtender 1.4.1 is not fully working in wordpress 3.5.2 & 3.6-beta (Can’t save/upload company logo in profile editor). Please check if I’m right or not.

If yes, will you update it?

    Thanks & regards

    Hi Bruno!

Is there a way to flag resumes with the jobs they’ve applied to? A way that’s visible at the front end, so that recruiters who search the resume database can see a flag that a particular candidate already applied to their job?

    Thanks!

  • letsgo2uk

    Hi Bruno
i have the purchased the plugin but when i set the Apply online option to yes to let the lister decide if they want it visible, the option doesnt appear when they submit a job.
    am i doing something wrong?

  • shmall

How do we make the company profile from LinkedIn to appear in the job page?

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

@shmall, please post any support questions on FXtender Pro forum.

As long as the job was submitted with a Company name, you just need to enable that option on FXtender Pro > Integration > Enable on Job Pages. Note that you’ll need to setup LinkedIn first, by specifying your LinkedIn API key.

  • grandmastad

Not worth $39. Rather find a stand aline plugin to handle the whole Apply using LinkedIn thing and then use a child theme such as Simplux. Save yourself lots of money and headache.

    Hi,
Is it possible thanks to your plugin tomake the recruiters pay per the number of resumes they are browsing, instead of making them pay per duration.

Say for example can I offer this type of pack :

    – 5 jobs posting + 100 CV browsing

    Thanks

  • patty

arf ok… Do you have an approx. realease date?

I am waiting for this feature to buy the jobroller board…

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

      No oficial date yet @patty.

JobRoller is a fantastic job board theme that already offers great features. If you don’t want to wait too long for this additional feature I would suggest hiring a developer to help you.

  • patty

ok thanks for your advice, I understand you are not going to add this feature in a near future, so I have to think about another job board that includes it.

Let’s hope Jobroller team include it soon because all the professionnal boards offer to monetize our board by making recruiters pay per resumes browsing. As it is, jobroller is not competitive (at least to me)

    Cheers

    Hi,
    Your plugin seems awsome!
I would like to know how did you put the box at the right of your website http://www.elocriativo.com/ the one named “Links Patrocinados” with 4 little square boxes, did you use your plugin or it is nativly included in the jobroller theme, or is it a wordpress module?

I would like to know this because I’d like to use this feature to display companies’ logos (and make them pay to be shown on the homepage), and I find this solution very nice !

    Thanks for your help

Now in the current Theme i cant see who applied for a certain job? Only throu this plugin!!?
If i can see them from the theme how is that? From where exactly?
Then what will the feture u provide do?

And does it only do the options listed?

Thanks a lot sry for so many questions. Appreciate it and great luck to u

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

@Mai, Yes. Currently, you can only monitor job applications through FXtender Pro.

The job application monitoring feature, allows Job Listers to see the number of applications for each of their job listings while Admins can see the total applications and the name of each applicant, from the backend.

“And does it only do the options listed?”
I think “only” is not the better word to describe the long list of features provided by FXtender Pro 🙂 This page only shows some of the features. For more details please visit the demo site by clicking the big ‘Live Demo’ button on the top of the page.

Job Listers (companies) can ONLY see how many people applied? what abour their resumes? they will be able to view them IN OUR website inside their dashboard? or if they use Apply Online they will recieve emails with applications?

U said admin can see names of applicant as well, can we (admin) control and HIDE names from Job listers? like they see cvs without names or contact info and if they want details it will be paid

As admin, can we see those applied CV’s? or numbers and names only? i am bit confuses here sorry

can I see the application Resumes files from my admin dashboard? by email is too difficult i guess.

can I limit file type to PDF only?

what is the difference between Attach and Link Resumes?
and does that include the resumes job seeker uploaded AND written?

“Job Listers (companies) can ONLY see how many people applied? what abour their resumes? they will be able to view them IN OUR website inside their dashboard? or if they use Apply Online they will recieve emails with applications?”
Job Listers receive emails with job seekers applications with the CV and/or cover letters attached, and/or with a link to the Online Resume.

“U said admin can see names of applicant as well, can we (admin) control and HIDE names from Job listers? like they see cvs without names or contact info and if they want details it will be paid”
No. The applicant names are only visible to admins, and only from WordPress backend.

As admin, can we see those applied CV’s? or numbers and names only? i am bit confuses here sorry
can I see the application Resumes files from my admin dashboard? by email is too difficult i guess.
Admins will see a list with all the job seekers that applied to a job with a direct link to each user profile. This list is visible on the backend on the edit job page, for each job.

“can I limit file type to PDF only?”
Not using an option. It can be done via some code hacking. I can help you later with this, on the support forum.

“what is the difference between Attach and Link Resumes?”
“Attached” Resumes means uploaded Resumes/CV files.
“Link” Resumes are online resumes, filled using the Resumes form.

“and does that include the resumes job seeker uploaded AND written?”
          Yes.

“is there an option Admin and job listers can comment on resumes for Admin only? like OK, not accepted, interview…etc?”
No. That feature may be added in the future in JobRoller.

“hiddin company logo is up to job listers or Admin only?”
Job Listers, can opt to upload or leave the company logo empty when submitting jobs.

“the apply Online option :hide or show, up to admin or job listers?”
Admins can hide the button to all jobs or can leave that option to job listers, in which case, they will be able to enable/disable the button on each job.

” can we choose which Plans/user to have this option which not?”
          No.

“can we export all resumes at once as folder?”
Resumes are stored on a folder. You can download them via FTP.

          “or export profiles?”
No. Please look for specific plugins to help you with this.

“THANKS A LOT i really appreciate ur patioance with me am so new to this jobroller”
No problem at all. Hope I was able to clarify you.

      • Adminon

Can the admin also see the application itself that was used to apply for the job?

        thanks!

    Hi Bruno,

Do you know if it is possible to hide the name of the resume posters, through your (nice) pluggin?

As a matter of fact I think this info is private and people don’t want google to browse and display their name in the serps to let everybody know they are seeking a job…

  • ja1nsa

    Hi

I purchased FXtender some time ago, but was using WP Jobboard as my theme. Recently I moved to Jobroller which is pretty good except for 1 very important feature for me. I need to be able to bulk email job applicants. This is just about possible as FXtender shows the username of the people who applied on the job (clicking on a username just reloads the job – not the user)? bug?

Any suggestions on how I get a list of applicants by job? I need at least email address, but could do with contact number, first name and surname as well.

As stated at present I have to go to the job, look for the users who applied, then go to users to find their email address. All very manual.

    Thanks

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

@ja1nsa, currently Fxtender Pro only provides a simple list of users who applied for a job. This list is visible only to admins from the job page backend.

I’ve added your suggestion to my todo list. Maybe I can make this list exportable, and include the contact data for each user.

  • John Ashcroft

Where is the username store in database against each job? I see on each job a count of applicants and their username. If I know this field I can write an SQL to extra the email address from the user database. It would help!

    Thanks

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

John, if you have some PHP or low level WordPress knowledge you just need to find the function that is outputting the job applicants list for each job and extract the additional metadada (e.g: user_email) for each user using ‘get_userdata()

  • netsmithy

Hi, After we installed and activated pro version of this plugin our job listers/employers are reporting issue that they are not getting application emails from site but their job applicants getting copy of same job application in their mailbox.. why ? is there any settings missing ?

We also tested it with dummy employer to verify this issue and its true.

can you please look at this issue.

    Thank You

    • netsmithy

Please ignore. The issue is not related to FXtender plugin but with JB theme it seems. I was able to fix it myself by removing $headers and replacing it with blank space ‘ ‘ in wp_mail in forms/application/application_process.php.

Why I did this ? because my hosting providing don’t allow to send emails from other accounts. Code line below in application_process.php just trying to do that it seems. It is trying to send application email using applicant’s email ID which is not allowed..

      Line # 174 application_process.php
      $headers = ‘From: ‘.$posted[‘your_name’].’ ‘ . “\r\n\\”;

Hi I have a Pre Sale question,

    1) How is Redirect Job Visitors work?
    2) how is Redirect Application Visitors work?

@scfreely, yes, FXtender Pro enables you to redirect the user to the signup/login page when they try to apply to a job. As for compatibility with the jobapps theme, they work nicely together.

  • Abram

    Hello Bruno,

Is there a way to set JobRoller to allow Admins to see how many jobseekers that a recruiter has contacted through resumes (with contact form enabled) OR do you know how to add the admin email as a default recipient for all messages sent through resumes contact form (like email CC) so Admin can cancel the subscription when a certain number of contact messages have been made through resumes?

OR (this was asked in August last year)

Is it possible thanks to your plugin tomake the recruiters pay per the number of resumes they are browsing, instead of making them pay per duration.

Say for example can I offer this type of pack :
    – 5 jobs posting + 100 CV browsing

    Do you do custom work?

    thank you

    • author
      Bruno Carreço

      Hi Abram,

With FXtender Pro installed admins can monitor the number of applications by each job seeker. That’s currently the only way you can monitor job applications.

As for the pay per number of resumes browsed, that’s actually a popular request that should be added to the next release of FXtender Pro. The current version does yet not provide that feature.

Regarding the custom work, thanks for your interest, but I’m not currently available.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • Abram

    Okay thanks.

    >> “With FXtender Pro installed admins can monitor the number of applications by each job seeker. That’s currently the only way you can monitor job applications.”
What I meant is, can admins monitor the number of resume contacts that have been made by an employer? (Like, how many times an employer has sent a message to a job seeker using the built-in contact form)

When is the next FXtender update due?

    Thanks for your help
