Add users the ability to feature live ClassiPress ads.
By default only when users purchase an ad they can select if to make it featured. With this plugin users will be able to feature an ad at a later time.
The charge is done through the framework payment gateways.

This plugin not working properly. This plugin does not work with your ‘Extend Ad’ plugin. The price is not added to ‘cp_sys_feat_price’. So if you feature free or paid ad and next you will try to extend it, the fee for extension will not include fee for featured – will be zero for free ads or procentable from basic fee. So now the plugin is worthless. Upgrade is necessary!

Hi there i Bought this plugins (FeatureMe) but i dont know where will be show this option in my user account? i bought the bump ad plugins as well i can see this two plugins same function. i think i am not right , please if possible give me dome details about this plugins .
see in the screenshot. there is a link with crown icon in ads that are not featured and owned by you, or if you admin.
Is it possible users to change ad from own personalized dashboard?
the current classipress dashboard doesn’t support hooks but with small modification it is possible.
This plugin is useless.

this plugin doesn’t provide a bump link. it provides a “feature ad” link. please read the description.

First off: you know what button I mean, even if it isn’t called “Bump Add”.
Second: You provided a screenshot with an “Bump Add” link.

So far your plugin doesn’t do anything that it advertises.
No “Feature Add” link/button on the front-end or dashboard.
well reading is a plus. the bump link image is cut, therefor not related. I can remove that entirely just for you. In the description it says what the plugin is.
I also asked you use to the support forum and you still don’t. so what help do you expect.
So make sure you use CP 3.3+ and read the description when the link should appear.

I have ad packages and my price model is fixed price per ad and I only use featured ads feature for those want website link fields being shown in their ads.
Can I use this plugin to redirect users to a page that they are able to select ad packages & select or unselect featured ads on this page like ad submission page?

Hi Roidan, great plugin thanks. I wonder if some of the problems people are having is that the position and design of the ‘feature ad’ link is very subtle. Most people using my site can’t find it even when they know it exists.
I think your customers would benefit greatly if it was made as easy as possible for their customers to see ‘feature ad’ really prominently.

There are no plans to update I can help you make CSS changes through the support forums.

Sorry Roi, I did not see your reply. A plain text link in the dashboard under ‘mark as sold’ as suggested in the forum would be great if possible. I’ll head over there.
Just noticed the update to 1.01 which attempts to addresses this issue. Great.
Now I just need to get the icon to look nice in the child theme I am using.

Got the plugin yesterday, using the CP theme.
Installed the plugin and it apears on admin contro panel.
On the edit ad page shows no option ” Feature Ad ” or the crown icon.
Any help lease?

the crown appears in the ad page, not in wp edit page.
this is because on wp edit page there is already option to feature an ad.
there is a checkbox called “Featured Ad (sticky)” next to the update button.

Hi, Got the last version of the plugin and finally got it to work out of the box with Flatron childtheme BUT only for Admin profile.
For some reason the bump ads and Featured ads plugins dont show buttons in the ad listing and ad dashboard of regular users.
Any help would be really appreciated

Finally got it working. Turns out the feature me and bump ads plugin only work when enable edit ads by users is active.

In the users dashboard, under the options column, could it be possible to add another icon, perhaps a gold star to make ad featured with this plugin?

I want to know How long ad stay in feature After use this plugin? For exemple: my normal ad expires in 2 days, if i pay today to appear in featured, it also expires in 2 days? Am i thinking right?

the feature says for as long as the ad is live.
when someone is featuring an ad through the plugin the ad will extend it’s expiration date like a new ad.
so if new ad expire in 5 days and you feature it through the plugin after 2 days, then the ad will be extended to expire in 5 days again.

time limit for feature is not available in this plugin currently.
I never tried wp rabbits plugin so don’t know how it works.
Ok. but limit time can be added by myself ? or are you thinking to launch in future one version with this function?

there is no config option. so you need a programmer to add this feature. it will probably exists in future version.

currently bump ad doesn’t change expiration date of the ad. not hard to add it your self if you want. you can get help in the support forum for this.

i was testing “feature me” plugin and:
I bought yesterday (19-february) one normal ad, for 2 days (time to expires until 21 february).
Today i bought a feature me and time to expire appear until 20 february.
Like we told before, feature me extend time, so time to expire until should be 22-february.
do you know why it happens? In this case ad will never expire.
sorry, but time to expire of normal ad extend to 365 days? do you know why it happens?
we would like it extend for the same time od normal ads. in this case, 2 days.

now i got it, it extend expire days for the main default number of days, if users are posting free.

basic functionality should work (link from an ad page). there won’t be icon in user dashboard without theme modification. new features might only be available for latest version of CP.
