Installation:
- Upload the childtheme to your themes folder
- Activate the childtheme
- Go to your “ClassiPress/Settings” and under “Advanced” tab select “Disable Core Stylesheets” to “YES”
- You may need to set your menus again. Go to your Admin dashboard => Appearance => Menus and activate your Header and footer menu.
- You may need to regenerate your thumbnails after first installation: Please install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ and run it once.

I have been using Citrus Night now for the last couple of months and find it excellent as it contains all the features needed to carry out an online classifieds website. With the now new version 3.0, it will further enhance your experience and i would highly recommend this child theme.

What happened, i am using the citrus night child team which is okay but the problem there is i can not post ads, the button is not working when i click on it, it won’t bring the listing process.
I have the version of Citrus, how do I upgrade?

Hi, I love your theme! I am looking to take Postitworld.com to the next level. I want eBay in a really bad way! I cannot stand the site. I am going to go head to head with them just like I did 6 years ago and beat them! I sold that company after I beat eBay at there own game! Now I want them again! How would your theme look if you took out the categories link button at the top since the categories already show on the main page in a nice layout? Is this possible and would you consider working with me on my site? If you and I can develope Postitworld.com into a multi-million dollar site, you and I can take it public! Sir when i open main category then sub categories are not show in sidebar.
one error show in sidebar widget. The error is
“Warning: print_r() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/meraclas/public_html/wp-content/themes/classipress/sidebar.php on line 71”

Can I change the background colour from Blue to a different colour scheme?
Can I have Ad Categories displayed with Icons instead of listings and have it like the original Classipress arrangement / Style i.e displayed in a box after Features Listings scrolling bar?
The background can be easily changed in the WP Admin Area => Appearance => Background.
To get icons displayed needs some changes in the style.css. To show the categories in a “box” can be done in the ClassiPress Settings. “Home Page Layout:” set to “Directory Style“
I have changed a fair bit of core Classipress codes, having also few plugins installed… Would this childtheme mess up the current setup ? And if there is any risk, please let me know.

Yes, you will need to do some changes in the style.css. As i haven’t done a translation to Arabic before, you may search in the forums for further support about this. The only tutorial i have found is this one: http://codex.appthemes.com/classipress/rtl but it uses an older version of ClassiPress. Maybe you can get in contact with the owner of this website: http://www.jubail-mall.com/site/ and ask him for some advice.

Actually I am, Levt. I just was not logged in when I made the comment. I am the same guy as gr8wan. You on the other hand should be asking Samcy where the upgrade is rather than worry about whether or not I am a client. Or maybe you do have the upgrade?
Actually, the cp 3.2 just shortly came out of beta, so the release of 3.2 is not so long yet and none of the authors would upgrade until a theme is out of Beta!
Second samcy is one, no he is the most helpful persons on the appthemes forum, answers to the most threads then anybody and is doing this all ready from the very start even before he became a part of the suport theme, he helps people even by going in to their site to look an solve the problem.
That he did not made an upgrade yet, meens in my opinion that he simply did not have the time for this other wish he would have done this all ready.
Now I think that first you got to get your fact straight, as in my opinion you have a lot of blablablablabla and more blablablabla!!!
We all have to be happy, very happy that there are authors and suport team members like samcy!!!

Ok Levt, I know you like to pretend you are important and you know a few things so here are some FACTS for you and Samcy (since he won’t bother to respond).
1. Version 3.2 was officially released on Nov. 5 (all you have to do is ask)
2. On Oct. 31, Samcy said he already had the upgrade in response to your own question but wanted to wait till the stable release. It has been 18 days since.
3. Other authors of child themes and plugins HAVE already upgraded their work to run with 3.2 (once again, all you have to do is ask)
Dude, I don’t know you, I don’t care who or what you are, I simply asked Samcy a question and you decided to poke your nose into this. Now run off and go find something to do so I can deal with Samcy. BTW I am aware what a useful resource he is to Appthemes but it’s also ok for him to answer simple questions about his work.
OK gr8wan, Me, I am just a customer a nobody and just do not like DUM people always had a problem with those kind like you, so you run off and look for some other useless dum people, maybe you can brother them, as here you do not ask but start to attack authors with any valid reason!
By the way they are not even obligated to upgrade there child themes.
Just leave samcy in peace and he will answer when he has time, would not be suprised if he would not answer you!
Hey Samcy i bought citrus back in april from wprabbit downloaded it once didnt even set up my classipress site, well i am back at it and i logged back into wprabbit saw my purchase but when i clicked download file was not found i am a paying customer how can i get access to downloading it again. By the way when i bought it you said it would be sold to a limit amount of customers and now its here for any amount to buy? Anyways i have already bought it just need access to it again. Thanks…

Yes, you need to install WordPress and ClassiPress first. After that you can use child themes to customize the look of your site.
