- After installing FXtender Pro my wordpress Multisite I get the error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.“
- Currently, FXtender Pro cannot be “network activated”. Please install it directly on each of the destination sites.
- Are there any language packs available for FXtender Pro?
- Currently there are lanugage packs for: German, French and Portuguese. Available for download here.
- Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.
- A new Sub-Menu named ‘FXtender’ will be available under the JobRoller menu.
- Just activate the features you want under the new created sub-menu panel.

No. Text inside CV files is not searchable.

Hi i just purchased the FXtender to use on my jobroller site. How can I create a Custom field where I can specify a 3rd party email address to which applications should be sent, without requiring them to have an account with my website first when posting jobs?

I purchased FXtender Pro a couple of years ago, but the last update I received was 1.4.0 and I cannot access any update to 1.4.5. I deactivated it last year because it seemed incompatible with the current version of JobRoller and WP 4.3. Since it never updated, I was under the impression FXtender Pro was no longer in development, but after checking these comments, it seems that is still active.
Question #1 – Is FXtender Pro still in active development?
Question #2 – is it compatible with WP 4.3 and the latest update, 4.5?

Have you purchased it here on the AppThemes marketplace? If so, you just need to look for it on your dashboard.

It isn’t in my purchase history here. I originally purchased it directly from your web site on 5/28/2012 8:58 PM and downloaded it via ejunkie.com. I still have the original receipt.
There was also an updater plug-in for it, which since apparently de-activated on its own. I was never able to update FXtender beyond 1.4.0, although my understanding was the purchase included perpetual updates, the same as my license with JobRoller before AppThemes changed their licensing to one year of updates. When FXtender stopped updating, I thought it was because development ended. This is why I was surprised to find it still in active development here on AppThemes.

@drsanjay, the date you are referring to is the first time the plugin was released.
Unfortunately, the plugin page does not display the last update date. Anyway, the plugin has seen several new updates and I actively support it.

I don’t have a specific release schedule but I’ve already did several releases and added inumerous new features to FXtender Pro. It’s now pretty complete and extends any JobRoller site in a big way.

Hello Sanjay, first of all, thanks for your purchase.
Yes, FXtender Pro is compatible with WP 4.5. You can see it working on the demo site which is using WP 4.5.1.
Please use your browser inspector to check for javascript errors. Some versions of JobRoller are having issues with the ‘SmoothScroll’ javascript library on WP 4.5.x. It’s probably your case and you’ll probably need to manually disable that library in JobRoller.
To disable it you can just comment out this line under ‘path/to/jobroller/includes/setup-theme.php’, around line #99:
wp_enqueue_script( 'smoothscroll', get_template_directory_uri() . '/includes/js/smoothscroll.min.js', array( 'jquery' ), '' );To comment the line replace just add to forward slashes to the beginning of the line like this:
//wp_enqueue_script( 'smoothscroll', get_template_directory_uri() . '/includes/js/smoothscroll.min.js', array( 'jquery' ), '' );After this fix, the thumbnails should work.
Note that the JS issue has nothing to do with FXtender Pro. Even if you disable it, you’ll see that the JS errors will still be displayed due to the ‘SmoothScroll’ JS library incompatibility with WP 4.5.
As for the ‘robots.txt’ file, you just need to copy the provided ‘robots.txt’ file under the ‘/extras’ folder to your site root folder.

I have posted the issue of Fxtender pro in support forum few days back which i had recently purchased but the issue was never addressed.
Uploaded CV’s are not displaying as a online resumes attachments even i have the option ‘Attached Resume Uploads’ enabled
i was just wondering all pre sales questions were answered so fast and why not for after purchases /sales questions also , did’t get any solutions to the problem in support forums

Does this have an option to upload a .doc or pdf with in-depth job details on it for people to download and view..?
Many big companies have multiple vacancies for the same job through out the year. Having this option saves a lot of time having to repeat the data entry for ads….
@aj2703, ‘FXtender Pro’ provides support for CV uploads on the job seekers dashboard. These CV’s can then be attached to their online resumes and downloaded by job listers when viewing individual online resumes.

On the right hand side image you can see the two available files for download the Lister has made available. On the left you can see the job description downloaded and opened by the job searcher.

You have CV’s that can be uploaded. Why not a job description / application form that can be downloaded…?
