Advanced Custom Fields for ClassiPress
The Advanced Custom Fields for ClassiPress(ACFCP) plugin is a powerful tool for extending the ClassiPress theme.
It allows you to add and completely control extra Profile fields and custom Ad fields. Also ACFCP Plugin allows the interaction of custom profile fields with custom ad fields and vice versa.
ACF adds many of the most requested features for ClassiPress:

The Plugin developed for a specific version of ClassiPress! After each update ClassiPress Plugin source code review. This may take some time.
Be prepared that if you upgrade ClassiPress before the release of upgrade Plugin – the Plugin turns off (for not to cause potential errors). The Plugin resume work on the condition that his version is compatible with the version of ClassiPress.
Manual Installation:
- Download the Plugin zip file advanced-custom-fields-for-classipress.zip
- Open WP Admin dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload
- Upload and activate the Plugin from Plugins page.
- Find the menu “ClassiPress” on the WordPress administration page. Select the lower point “ACF options” and proceed to configure the Plugin.
Manual Update:
- Export ACF plugin settings to the INI file (just in case)
- Deactivate and Delete installed ACF plugin from plugins page
- Repeat all steps from manual install (see above)
Localization:
Starting with plugin version 2.3, was implemented internationalization system of plugin settings content.
Language Packs and Portable Object Template are located in the folder /wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-for-ClassiPress/languages/
Installing Language Packs:
- Open folder
/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-for-ClassiPress/languages/ - Find Pack file for your language with name

Any possibility of releasing Date field assigned to classipress expiry date (meta: cp_sys_expiry_date) , so that user can enter there own expiry date within the ad package?
ex. If user select no ad package then expiry date can be anything but within the max limit of no of days set in the setting. say 30 days…
If user select the ad package which should display ad for 60 days then the expiry date option should be flexible to set by user within 60 days…

I see that “Advanced Custom Fields for ClassiPress” may do it. But, when I see the this plugin’s page, I can’t find how I can define it to some fields.
I watched demo site and reviewed related screenshots at related page. But, still I couldn’t understand how I can set the field.
Could you show me how I can do it when I buy this extra plugin?

You can hide fields from non-logged-in visitors without any addon. It’s provided in ACFCP plugin by default. There is settings tab “Conditional Display Options” with options “For logged-in” and “Private field”.
I’m sorry, that video and screens are some outdated and you didn’t see these new options.
ACF :: Privacy addon provides additional options, which might not be used in your project. There are “Placeholder” (custom text instead of hidden field), “Allowed memberships”, “Allowed roles”.
So, if you need just hide AD and Profile fields from non-logged-in visitors – you can use single ACFCP plugin without addons.

But I have problem.
When I logged-in as contributor ( ‘İçerik Sağlayıcı’ is seen WP users, the translation of contributor ), still I see “loggin registered”.
I made several tests with “contributor”, “contributors”, “İçerik Sağlayıcı”, in allowed roles, but it didn’t work.
How Can I solve this problem?

1) If you define the quantity of maximum characters in title, so user will have no ability to enter characters more than specified. Also, there are Messages settings, where you can change messages text (or translate). But it won’t show how many characters do they still have remaining until getting to the maximum.
2) Plugin distributed with Free lifetime updates. If this policy will change in the future, it will not affect those who have already bought the plugin.

I realize this is sudden as it was just released, my apologies, but is there any verdict yet about compatibility with WordPress 3.9? Apparently Classipress 3.3.3 is supposed to be ok with WP 3.9.

The plugin is great, the only problem is How to connect Name and Surname with wp fields. In profile pages there are duplicated, if i turn of plugins name and surname, filed are blank and changes cannot be saved. Is that possible to solve?

I can suppose, that field names are incorrect. Please, check, Name = “first_name”, Surname = “last_name”.
Then make them visible on “Registration” form and invisible on “Edit Profile” and also on “Edit Profile Admin” forms through plugin “Display Options”
Is it possible to inherit also name surname an pghone number to the submit your listing form?
Yes, of course.
To inherit profile fields on listing form, you just need set Ad fields “Default Value” with Profile field names.
For example `phone` field. Let’s suppose you have Profile field `user_phone` and Ad field `cp_phone`.
Open “ACF Options” -> “Ad Fields” tab -> “Main Properties” sub tab.
And enter in “Default Value” `user_phone` (without apostrophes) in `cp_phone` row.
Plugin will able to understand, that you want use current user Phone field as default value for appropriate Ad field.
Is possible to add fields based on category? the fields will be filled in posting new ad and displayed when viewing an ad.
For example for the category “Cars” the user should input the color,mileage,year,type of gas ….
but for the category House, he should input things like: bedrooms, floors, area…

As for Categories Forms you can do with this plugin following: you can add default values to the fields, inherit profile values to the ad fields, hide some fields on edit ad form, add formats and limitations to ad field and manage validation of their values.

Hello, I want a new user registration not to be possible, unless a user check a box of “I accept the terms of service” before registration. I set it in Display option (registration form) – but registration is possible even if you dont check a box. Thank You and regards, Adam
Hello Adam! Sorry for late response (I’m on vacation).
Open “ACF Options” -> “Profile Fields” -> “Formats & Limitations” and select format “required” for your field. So user will must to check a box to make field filled.
